Our Lady of the Lakes Parish

The Diocese has instituted a new online training class titled Protecting God’s Children and Vulnerable Adults 3.2.

If it has been more than three (3) years since your initial training, you will need to take this course. You may have received an email from the Diocese about this, but very few of our volunteers have completed this. The Diocese would like us to have a greater compliance record.

Here are the steps to do the class:

1. Go to www.virtusonline.org. The diocese has re-set most accounts to use their email address as their User ID (then request a password reset). If you have trouble logging in, please do NOT create a new account as that makes more work for us in consolidating your two accounts. Please email us at [email protected], and we can retrieve that for you.
2. Log in to your EXISTING account using the User ID and Password you made when you first set up the account. If that does not

3. Next, click on ‘training’. Then, take the online class assigned to you (PGC 3.2). It takes about an hour. Continue all the way to the point where you are offered to print the certificate, so that the system recognizes that you completed the class. We can do the actual printing from our admin tab for this certificate. NOTE: Do not fast-forward through the videos – this causes the program to get stuck and then we need to contact the help desk
